Leading Employee AI Adoption with Training

01 See the Problem Was…

BLN24 had no structured AI training program despite leadership encouraging employees to adopt AI as part of the AI Center of Excellence initiative. Employees had no foundational resource to build knowledge, develop confidence, or apply AI tools consistently across their day-to-day work.

Third party course options were evaluated and found to be too expensive, too generic, or too technical for BLN24’s non-technical employee base, requiring a custom solution built from scratch.

02 Logan’s Role

  • Leveraged subject matter expertise in AI and instructional design to design, script, storyboard, record, and produce BLN24’s generative AI foundational training course independently with no budget and limited direction.
  • Built a structured course of three sections, 22 videos, quizzes, workflow demonstrations, and a certificate of completion, collaborating with BLN24’s UI/UX lead for design support.
  • Maintained consistency across months of solo production by developing a storyboard, scripting each module, and recording all video content, reporting progress to the Communications Director and Chief Data Officer throughout.

03 Results

  • Delivered a complete, department-relevant generative AI course covering prompt engineering, persona development, and workflow integration across multiple LLMs including ChatGPT and Copilot.
  • Course moves employees from AI novice to confident practitioners with practical, demonstrated workflows applicable to communications, business development, data, admin, and project management departments.
  • Established BLN24’s first structured AI training resource, providing a scalable foundation for ongoing AI literacy and adoption across the organization.
